Organic Farming Advisory Organization” (OFAO) is founded in response to the outcry of the citizens of the Republic of South Sudan who are in dire need of agricultural advancement since agriculture is the economic backbone of the Nation.

CURRENT PROJECTS
This report highlights the activities accomplished between November, December 2015-February 2016. It involves following up of farmers organizations to establish the implementation of knowledge and skills acquired from the training they underwent.
WHAT MAKES OFAO UNIQUE
OFAO uses sharing and practical work and rights based tactic in programming and implementing its activities aimed at attaining the Organization’s vision and mission. We do this through establishment of demonstration farms and encouraging specialization in organic farm production through the following methods:
- We offer advisory services to local communities and cooperative societies in productive farming practices especially women, youths and disabled persons.
- We encourage farmers to produce quality food commodities to meet the international standards.
- We conduct capacity building of youth and women on farming methods, environmental conservation, food security, research and livelihood development skills.
- More so, we conduct awareness programs on health food processing and farming systems as well as advocacy and lobbying for improved farming methods.

We establish income generating activities and generate entrepreneurship skills in the community for self-reliance.
